I bought two hard-to-find men’s palaka shirts (plantation plaid) that proved to be well-made, generously cut from quality cotton fabric, with vibrant colors and traditional styling. Anyone can find and wear an aloha shirt– but I will be proud to wear these palakas in honor of the sugar and pineapple plantation workers who built Hawaii!
